We sincerely appreciate you! Without you, our patrons, volunteers and benefactors, and the interest, time and money so generously share, work at the Nueces Delta Preserve would not be possible. Below, you will find our current "Wish List." These will enhance the delta and the experience of those students and teachers who visit. Thanks again for all your support!
We're wishing for:
1. Boardwalks ($2,700/20' section x 10 = $27,000)
2. Pole barn and car port area ($18,000)
3. Logo shirts for volunteers ($500)
4. Volunteer help
5. Wildflower garden utilizing Texas native plant species and native prairie grass seeds for prairie restoration (plot preparation $300 and native seeds $2,500)
6. Food and other supplies for 10 yearly teacher workshops hosted by the education staff (food and beverages for 20 teachers per session)
7. All terrain, four or six wheeled, four seater vehicle; GATOR ($12,000)
8. School Bus transportation reimbursement for area schools visiting the wetlands ($400 / classroom for 30 field trips = $12,000)
