Registration Link now OPEN for 2025-2026 field trips

Field trips are TEKS-aligned and FREE  to any K – 12th grade school in our 12-county program area. During the field trip, a number of stations will be run by our educators and volunteers, and students will rotate through these stations. We use the 5 senses, a sense of discovery, as well as the scientific method to teach about cycles, systems, organisms, landforms, conservation, vegetation, and the environment. We discuss how these items change over time and we use equipment to collect and record data.

We host all outdoor field trips that are weather dependent. The optimal daily field trip size is up to 60 students and we require a 1:20 adult to student ratio.

In order to book a field trip:

1. Click on the  calendar button above & look for available dates, Tuesdays – Fridays. (Optimal field trip size: up to 60 students. Maximum: 90 per day.)
